Asparagus With Parmesan

Asparagus parmigiano is a savory and baked preparation of asparagus with cheese and tomatoes. Combined with a mix of onions and herbed with thyme, the tomatoes are poured over the asparagus and sprinkled with cheese. Served as a side with fish, this wonderful side makes a sumptious meal.
Ingredients
  Fresh asparagus/2 packages frozen asparagus, cooked 1 1⁄2 Pound, cooked
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Tabasco sauce 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned tomatoes 1 Pound
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce
  Mozzarella cheese 4 Ounce, thinly sliced
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Drain cooked asparagus; arrange in shallow baking dish.
Saute onion and garlic in oil in saucepan until golden.
Add salt, Tabasco sauce, and tomatoes; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Add thyme and tomato sauce; simmer 20 minutes.
Pour over asparagus.
Place slices of mozzarella cheese over top.
Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake in preheated 350°F oven 30 minutes.
