Sambal goring telor is a traditional Indonesian preparation of eggs that can be served with rice as a meal. This preparation of eggs uses sauce that is made with a lot of key Indonesian ingredients the most important being, coconut milk. Other ingredients like galangal roots, salam leaf, tamarind paste and trassi is cooked with shrimps, garlic and shallots. The eggs are hard boiled and cut lengthwise and arranged lengthwise before serving them with the sauce as a topping. They can be served with rice or a side of potatoes and vegetables.
