|Yoghurt||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fresh mint sprigs/One-half teaspoon dried mint||2 , chopped|
|Cucumber||1 , peeled and grated|
|Scallion||1 , trimmed and chopped|
|Dried currants||1 Tablespoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
If desired, drain the yoghurt briefly in cheesecloth.
Combine yoghurt with remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Chill until serving time.
