Lamb Kebab

Ingredients
  Vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Bay leaves 2
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Lamb/Beef 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes
  Tomatoes 3 Medium, cut in sixths
  Mushrooms 18 Small
  Bacon slices 6 , cut in thirds
Directions

Combine in saucepan vinegar, water, bay leaves, salt and sugar; bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes.
Cool, Pour over meat; marinate 24 hours.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Arrange meat, tomato wedges, mushrooms and bacon slices alternately on 6 skewers.
Broil 15 minutes in shallow pan, 3 or 4 inches from heat, turning frequently and basting with reserved marinade.
