|Vinegar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lamb/Beef||1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Tomatoes||3 Medium, cut in sixths|
|Bacon slices||6 , cut in thirds|
Combine in saucepan vinegar, water, bay leaves, salt and sugar; bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes.
Cool, Pour over meat; marinate 24 hours.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Arrange meat, tomato wedges, mushrooms and bacon slices alternately on 6 skewers.
Broil 15 minutes in shallow pan, 3 or 4 inches from heat, turning frequently and basting with reserved marinade.
