Mama Sita Caldereta

Make beef brisket in Pinoy style. You will find this method and taste very different from the usual recipe.
Ingredients
  Beef brisket 1 Kilogram, cut into 1.5 inch cubes
  Caldereta mix 1 3⁄4 Ounce (Preferably Mama Sita'S)
  Potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into serving portions
  Bell pepper 1 , cut into 1.5 inch triangle
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green peas 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat oil. Pan fry meat in oil until golden brown.
Add water. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer until meat is tender.
Add water if necessary.
Add Mama Sita's Caldereta mix. Stir.
Add potatoes and carrots. Simmer and add rest of the vegetables.
cook until done.

Hey, in this caldereta recipe, can I use chicken or lamb or chicken instead of beef ??
