Korean Food: Radish Sidedish (무생채)

Moo Sang Che (무생채) is a Korean radish side-dish. Koreans serve this dish with rice , different kinds of Korean soup, and other side-dishes for our daily meals.
Main ingredients:
  Korean radish 4 Cup (64 tbs), thinly sliced strips
  Red pepper 1⁄2 Tablespoon, chopped finely (Optional)
  Onion 1⁄3 Large, thinly sliced
  Sea salt 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Seasoning ingredients:
  Red pepper powder 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon (Brown rice vinegar or Apple vinegar)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Minced garlic 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon

1. Take a large bowl and put in the radish strips. Add sea salt and mix. Keep aside for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, rinse the radish in cold water twice. Drain the radish and set it aside.

2. In a bowl, add the rinsed and drained radish, onions and red pepper. Combine well.
3. To this add red pepper powder, vinegar, sugar, sesame seeds, garlic and salt. Mix until combined well.

4. Serve immediately or refrigerate it until serving time. Tastes best with rice or noodles.
