Chinese Style Beef In Oyster Sauce
|Top round beef||1 Pound|
|Garlic||1 , minced|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chinese oyster sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Hot beef broth/Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sliced water chestnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cut the beef in 1-inch cubes.
Heat the oil in a deep skillet; brown the beef and garlic in it.
Add the salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, gin, sugar, and broth or water.
Mix well; cover and cook over low heat 25 minutes.
Add the mushrooms, water chestnuts, and scallions.
Cook over medium heat 3 minutes.
