Beef With Oyster Sauce

Ingredients
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Dry sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Beef 1 Pound, cut into 1/4 inch strips (chuck or round)
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Green pepper 1 , cut into 1/4 inch strips
  Canned water chestnuts 8 , sliced
  Oyster sauce 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon (bottled)
Directions

Combine the soy sauce, dry sherry, cornstarch, and sugar in a small bowl.
Add beef and marinate 20 to 30 minutes.
Heat oil in the wok and stirfry the green pepper strips and water chestnuts 1 to 2 minutes.
Push aside and stirfry the beef 2 to 3 minutes.
Return the green pepper and water chestnuts to the beef in the wok.
Gently stir in the oyster sauce.
Heat through and serve at once garnished with nuts, if desired.
