Pork Satays With Plum Sauce
|Lean boneless pork||2 Pound (1 Kg)|
|Sauce||150 Milliliter (2/3 Cup)|
|Soy sauce||25 Milliliter (2 tablespoon)|
|Vegetable oil||15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)|
|Ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 milliliter)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 milliliter)|
Trim pork; slice lengthwise into 1/4-inch (5 mm) thick slices; cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) strips.
Thread strips onto skewers; place on tray or platter.
Combine 1/3 cup (75 mL) of the plum sauce, soy sauce, oil, ginger and mustard; brush some of the mixture generously over meat.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Place skewers on greased grill over medium hot coals or at medium setting; grill for 8 to 12 minutes or until no longer pink inside, turning halfway through and baisting occasionally with sauce.
Brush with remaining plum sauce just before serving.
