Ingredients
  Egg whites 8
  Cream of tartar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Vanilla extract To Taste
Directions

In a large mixing bowl beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy.
Gradually add the sugar one tablespoon at a time, beating until soft peaks form.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla, mixing well.
Pour into an ungreased nine-inch round baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for about forty to fifty minutes.
