|Cream cheese||3 Ounce|
|Unsalted butter||1⁄2 Pound, softened|
|Flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Golden raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Beat the cream cheese and butter in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
Gradually beat in the flour and salt.
Knead for a few minutes until a smooth ball is formed.
Wrap in wax paper and chill the dough for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine the filling ingredients, mixing well.
Divide the chilled dough into four balls.
Roll each ball into about a nine-inch circle, one-eighth inch thick.
Cut each round into eighths.
Brush with some of the melted butter.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of filling along the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up the triangles from the wide end and place them, seam side down, on lightly oiled baking sheets.
Brush with the beaten egg and milk mixture.
Repeat with the remaining dough.
Bake at 350 degrees about 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Transfer to wire racks to cool.
