|Dried broad fava beans||1 Pound|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Olive oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Drain the beans and place in a large saucepan.
Cover well with water, bring to the boil.
Cover, turn clown heat and simmer, ;adding more water and stirring when necessary, until the beans are tender for approx 3/4 hour.
Drain the beans and mix in the crushed garlic olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Serve hot or cold.
