Oriental Abalone

Ingredients
  Abalone steaks 1 Pound
  Chicken bouillon cube 1
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned water chestnuts 6 Ounce
  Mushrooms 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bias cut celery slices 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Green pepper 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice/Dry white wine 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Ground ginger 1 Dash
  Hot cooked rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Thaw frozen abalone; cut steaks into 1-inch strips.
In saucepan dissolve bouillon cube in water.
Add water chestnuts, mushrooms, celery, and green pepper.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Blend soy sauce, lemon juice or wine, cornstarch, and ginger together.
Add to mixture in saucepan and stir till thickened.
Add the aba lone strips and cook till tender, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Serve over fluffy hot cooked rice.
