Blender Babes' recipe testers were clamoring to be the first to test this delicious and nutritious black bean hummus recipe by Dr. Fuhrman from his book Eat To Live -- For Fast and Sustained Weight loss. Plus it's so EASY to make in a high powered blender, this will become a go-to favorite whenever you are craving a healthy snack or need to bring something to a get together.
  Black beans 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Tahini 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Cumin 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegizest seasoning/No salt seasoning 2 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Garlic 1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm)
  Paprika 1 Dash

1. In the vitamix combine black beans, tahini, lemon juice, soy sauce, water, cumin, vegizest seasoning, cayenne pepper, garlic and paprika
2. Start off with speed 1 and slowly increase to speed 10, and then flip it to high.
3. Use the tamper if needed. Blend to a smooth consistency.

4. Serve with some crackers.
