Shami Kebabs

Ingredients
  Lamb 225 Gram, minced
  Onion 1 Small, chopped finely
  Green lentils 225 Gram
  Cardomom masala 1 Teaspoon
  Regular salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper corns 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Egg 1 Small, beaten
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Seasoned flour 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.In a mini-chopper, place the quartered onion and chop finely, then add half the lentils and switch on again till the lentils have become a purée.

MAKING
2.Now combine the puréed lentils with the meat, the rest of the lentils, the cardamom masala, salt and crushed peppercorns.
3.Use a large fork to mix everything well, then add the beaten egg and mix again. Now using your hands, form the mixture into 12 patties.
4.In a large frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon or the oil in a large frying-pan and, when it's hot, dip the patties into seasoned flour and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side, adding more oil if necessary.

SERVING
6.Serve the kebabs with the mango chutney or mint chutney.
