Frozen Oriental Salad
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce|
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped|
|Chopped kumquats||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped dates||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped maraschino cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Crushed pineapple||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped ginger||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped blanched almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Soften cream cheese; stir in mayonnaise and blend until smooth.
Fold in whipped cream, fruit and ginger.
Pour into freezing tray of refrigerator.
Sprinkle top with almonds.
Freeze in freezing compartment until firm.
Cut in squares and serve on crisp lettuce.
