Chicken Liver Kebabs
|Chicken livers||1 Pound|
|Fresh mushrooms/Whole mushrooms - 1 can (6 oz) , drained||1⁄2 Pound|
|Canned pimientos||4 Ounce, drained and cut into squares (1 jar)|
|Herb garlic salad dressing||4 Ounce (1/2 bottle, 8-oz size)|
1 Wash the chicken livers throughly and dry on paper towles.
2 Using a sharp knife, trim off the fat from the livers and remove thw white centers.
3 Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and trim if required.
4 On four (10 inch) skewers, thread alternately witch chicken livers, pimientos and mushrooms, ending with a mushroom.
5 In a shallow baking pan, arrange the skewers.
6 Pour the dressing over kebabs, and marinate for 10 minutes turning once.
7 Broil 6 inches from the heat, for 5 minutes; turn.
8 Brush with the dressing and broil for another 10 minutes or until the livers are cooked.
9 Serve with fluffy white rice.
