Singapore Satay Sauce

Ingredients
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Onion 1 Small
  Roasted peanuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Fresh chili 1
  Dried chilies 1
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Tamarind 1⁄2 Teaspoon (1 small piece)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Coconut milk 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a mortar or electric blender, crush together garlic, onion, peanuts, chillies, sugar and tamarind.
2) In a non-stick pan, fry the onion mixture for 2 to 3 minutes.
3) Add lemon juice, water, coconut milk and soy sauce and bring to a boil.
4) Simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce is thick.

SERVING
5) Serve as desired.
