Hummus With Pumpkin And Pomegranate
|Cooked chickpeas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Mashed cooked pumpkin||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tahini||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (sesame seed paste)|
|Minced fresh parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Pomegranates||1 , opened and seeds separated|
|Pitas||8 , split and warmed|
1) Puree the chickpeas, pumpkin, tahini, parsley and garlic in a food processor until smooth.
2) Transfer to a serving plate.
3) Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds over the hummus.
4) Serve chilled or at room temperature with the pitas.
