Ingredients
  Egg yolks 12
  Sugar 500 Gram
  Refined flour 500 Gram
  Ghee 125 Gram
  Thick coconut milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Powdered nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Put 1 cup water in sugar and prepare a thick syrup.
Beat the eggs and mix into the cooled sugar syrup along with the rest of the ingredients.
Keep on mixing the batter till it is smooth.
Take a deep ovenware dish and put in 1 tblsp ghee.
When it is heated pour 1 cup of batter in it.
Level the surface and bake in a moderate oven till it is firm.
Now pour 1 tblsp ghee on top and pour another cupful of batter on top.
Level the surface and put in the oven again.
Bake again till it is firm.
Continue in this way till all the batter is used up.
You can colour the different layer differently and have a ribbon cake.
