Spicy Chopped Beef Kebabs

Ingredients
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Large, peeled and chopped
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), peeled and chopped
  Fresh root ginger piece 1 Inch, chopped
  Ground cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cardamom 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped lean beef/Boneless lean chopped lamb / pork 1 Pound (Boneless)
  Boneless lean beef/Boneless lean lamb / pork 1 Pound, chopped
  Dry bread crumbs 3 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Beaten egg 1
  Chopped mint leaves 3 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)
Directions

Heat the butter in a frying pan over low heat.
Add the onion and saute for 3 minutes.
Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, and cardamom; saute the mixture, stirring occasionally, another 3-4 minutes, and reserve.
Mix together the meat, bread crumbs, egg, mint, chile, lemon juice, salt, cayenne, and black pepper.
Add the onion mixture to the meat mixture and shape into patties about 2 inches in diameter.
Heat about 3/4 inch of oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Add the patties two or three at a time, to give the oil time to reheat, and cook until the patties are well browned, turning them frequently.
Drain them on paper towels and serve with a mixed salad and warmed pita bread.
