Hummus Chickpea Spread

Ingredients
  Scallions 4 , chopped coarsely (White Part Only)
  Canned chickpeas 19 Ounce, drained, rinsed (1 Can, About 2 Cups)
  Ground cumin 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground coriander 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fresh lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Extra virgin olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced (About 1 To 2 Teaspoons, Optional)
  Water 6 Tablespoon
  Pita chips 1
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1) Using a food processor puree the first eight ingredients.
2) Add salt and pepper to taste.
3) With the processor motor running, add enough water to get dipping consistency.

SERVING
4) Serve with Pita Chips.
