|Round steak||1 Pound, cut into 1/2 inch squares (1/2 Inch Thick)|
|Salad oil||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Large, sliced|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
Slowly brown meat in 1-1/2 T.oil.
Remove from skillet.
Add rest of oil, onion, garlic, sugar and pepper.
Cook until onion is yellow.
Return meat to skillet and add water and soy sauce.
Simmer 1 hour, covered.
Serve over fluffy rice or noodles.
