Oriental Style Beef And Vegetables
|Boneless beef sirloin steak||1⁄4 Pound|
|Instant beef bouillon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Green onions with tops||2 , cut into 1/2 inch pieces|
|Stalk celery||1 Small, cut into 1/8 inch slices|
|Chopped spinach||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Bite Size Pieces)|
|Mushrooms||4 , thinly sliced|
|Hot cooked rice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
For ease in cutting, freeze beef sirloin steak about 20 min.
Cut beef across grain into 2 X 1/4" strips.
Mix beef, water, margarine, sugar, bouillon (dry), cornstarch and soy sauce in 1-qt casserole [1 1/2-qt casserole].
Cover tightly and microwave on medium (275 watts), stirring twice, until beef is tender, 4 to 6 min [4 1/2 to 7 min].
Stir in onions and celery.
Cover tightly and microwave on high (550 watts) until vegetables are crisp-tender, 1 1/2 to 2 min [2 to 3 min].
Stir in spinach and mushrooms.
Cover tightly and microwave until spinach is cooked, 1 to 2 min [2 to 3 min].
