White Lace Crepes With Oriental Fruits
|Egg whites||3 Medium|
|Cornflour||4 Tablespoon (Cornstarch)|
|Cold water||3 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Lychees||12 Ounce (350 Gram)|
|Seedless green grapes||6 Ounce (175 Gram)|
|Ginger wine/Dry sherry||2 Tablespoon|
1)In a bowl, place peeled and destoned lychees.
2)To the bowl add, peeled, deseeded and cut pieces of melon.
3)To the bowl add, washed, dried and destalked grapes.
4)Peel and grate the fresh ginger.
5)Chop the stem ginger finely after draining from ginger syrup.
6)To the bowl, add the gingers and ginger syrup. Mix well and keep covered.
7)In a small jug, blend together cornflour, egg whites and cold water to a smooth batter.
8)Take a small non-stick crepe pan. Heat and pour oil in the center. Pour the crepe mixture on the pan to get a lacy appearing flat thin pan cake.
9)In a few seconds the crepe would set. Transfer and drain on kitchen tissue. Keep warm. Make crepes with remaining batter.
10)On a serving plate, place a crepe, top with fruit filling and fold over.
