Kidney Kebabs With Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Baby onions 8
  Bacon slices 4 , cut in half and rolled up
  Lambs kidneys 4 , skinned, cored and halved
  Chipolata sausages 4 , halved
  Tomato puree 1 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Boiled rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
For sauce
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Tomato ketchup 5⁄8 Cup (10 tbs)
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1) Allow the onions to be cooked in boiling salted water for 4 minutes and drain the excess water.
2) Take skewers and thread the onions, bacon rolls, kidneys and sausages on to them.
3) Combine tomato puree, Worcestershire sauce and oil.
4) Apply this all over the kebabs and grill (broil) for about 10 minutes.
5) Baste with the oil mixture after tossing once.
6) To make the sauce, sauté the onion in the butter or margarine till translucent.
7) Add rest of the ingredients and allow boiling.
8) Cook for 5 minutes.

SERVING
9) Serve the kebabs with the sauce on rice.
