Indonesian Gado Gado
|Potatoes||2 Large, scrubbed and diced|
|Carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced|
|Cut green beans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded cabbage||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cucumber||1⁄2 , sliced|
|Bean sprouts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Large, slivered|
|Hard-cooked eggs||4 , sliced|
Place diced potatoes in a vegetable steamer set over boiling water, cover and steam 10 minutes.
Add carrots and green beans, cover, and continue to steam for 5 minutes.
Add shredded cabage and steam for 3 minutes.
Arrange steamed and raw vegetables and sliced eggs on a serving platter and serve with Gado Gado Sauce.
