Belfruit Sherbet

Ingredients
  Wood apples 4 Large
  Sugar To Taste (As Needed)
  Water 1 Liter
  Lime juice 2 Tablespoon (Juice Of 1-2 Limes)
  Salt 1 Pinch
Directions

Break open fruit.
Lightly oil your hands and remove all seeds and stringy part of fruit.
Mash fruit and weigh.
Weigh an equal amount of sugar.
Pass fruit through a sieve, adding a little water to facilitate straining.
Mix puree with water and sugar.
Cook till thick.
Add lime juice and salt.
Cool, bottle and store in refrigerator.
Excellent for a weak stomach.
