Asparagus Oriental

Ingredients
  Salad oil 1 Tablespoon
  Asparagus 3 Cup (48 tbs), cut pieces 1 1/2 inches long (in bias, fresh)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
Directions

Heat salad oil in a large skillet; add the pieces of asparagus.
Sprinkle with salt, monosodium glutamate, and pepper.
Cover.
Lift skillet slightly above high heat and shake it constantly while cooking.
Cook asparagus only till tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium, if necessary, during last minute or so of cooking.
Don't over cook.
