A Basic Hummus

When you're in need of a simple, yet delicious item to be served with wine or beer try this recipe for a basic Hummus. It's great with Pita Bread and can be changed up to suit your taste with Roasted Red Peppers, Roasted Garlic, Olives, or Red Pepper Flakes.
Ingredients
  Garbanzo beans 30 Ounce, rinsed, drained
  Tahini 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic cloves 6
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a food processor jar, place all ingredients and blend to get a smooth texture, add water if required.

SERVING
2. In serving plate, place some triangle cut pita breads.
3. In a bowl put hummus, drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh parsley.
