Spiced Chicken Koftas With Lime Pickle

  Skinless boneless chicken 1 Pound, chopped coarsely
  Ginger root 1 Inch, grated
  Garam masala 4 Teaspoon
  Ground turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped fresh coriander 2 Tablespoon (Cilantro)
  Green bell pepper 1⁄2 , chopped coarsely
  Fresh green chilies 2 , deseeded
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 6 Tablespoon
  Lime pickle 4 Ounce (1 Jar, For Serving)
  Lime wedges 3
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)

1. Put all the ingredients except the oil and lime pickle into a food processor or blender and process until the mixture is chopped finely. Alternatively, finely chop the chicken, garlic, ginger, (bell) pepper and chillies, and mix together in a bowl with the garam masala, turmeric, coriander (cilantro) and salt.
2. Carefully shape the chicken mixture into 16 small balls.
3. Heat the oil in a Balti pan or wok and fry the koftas for 8-10 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure they cook evenly. If you cannot fit all the koftas into the pan at once, keep the first batch warm in a low oven while you fry the remaining koftas.
4. Drain the koftas on paper towels and serve hot with lime pickle and a garnish of lemon wedges.
