Malaysian Biskut Senyum

Ingredients
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Maida)
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
  Arrowroot flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Unsalted roasted peanuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), crushed
Directions

Dry roast the two flours till pink and aromatic.
Cool and sift together.
Reserve.
Mix butter, sugar and the peanuts.
Add essence.
Add the flours and knead into a dough.
Make small balls and flatten them on a greased baking tray.
Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes, or till golden and crisp.
Serve with cream or custard sauce.
