Keema Matar - Minced Beef And Green Peas Curry

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Large, finely chopped
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Garam masala 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chilli powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Minced beef 1 Pound
  Tomatoes 4 Medium, skinned and chopped
  Shelled peas 8 Ounce
  Salt water 1⁄2 Pint
Directions

Fry the onion in the oil until it is lightly browned.
Mix the garlic with the spices, add to the onion and fry gently for about 1 minute.
Add the meat and continue to fry until the meat is brown, stirring frequently.
Then add the tomatoes and peas, pour in the water and add salt to taste.
Simmer, covered, until the meat is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes.
