Oriental Red Snapper

  Thinly sliced green onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Peeled minced gingerroot 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried crushed red pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Low-sodium soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Unsweetened pineapple juice 2 Tablespoon
  Dark sesame oil 1 Teaspoon
  Red snapper fillets 16 Ounce (4 Fillets, 4 Ounce Each)

Combine first 9 ingredients; stir well.
Place fillets in a shallow dish; spread green onion mixture evenly over fillets.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes.
Line a steaming basket with a plate at least 1 inch smaller in diameter than the basket.
Transfer fillets to plate, using a slotted spoon; discard marinade.
Place steaming basket over boiling water.
Cover and steam 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork
