Oriental Wild Rice
|Canned chicken broth||13 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust To Make 2 1/2 Cup With Chicken Broth)|
|Long grain and wild rice||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Canned water chestnuts||8 Ounce, drained and chopped (1 Can)|
|Green onions||4 , sliced|
|Sliced pimiento||2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)|
Combine chicken broth with enough water to make 2-1/2 cups liquid.
Place in a large saucepan with butter or margarine.
Stir in contents of rice and seasoning packets.
Cook according to package directions about 25 minutes.
Stir in water chestnuts, green onions, pimiento and salt.
