|Canned mandarin orange segments||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Crushed pineapple||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Use As Needed)|
|Fast cooking long grain and wild rice||6 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Currants/Chopped raisins||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped green onions with tops||1 Tablespoon|
Drain mandarin-orange segments and pineapple; reserve liquid.
Add water to fruit liquid to make 2 cups.
Cook contents of rice and seasoning packets with fruit liquid, water and butter or margarine according to package directions.
Fold in currants or raisins.
Heat Just before serving, fold in chopped onions.
