Ingredients
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sweet sake/Dry sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Grated fresh ginger root 1 Teaspoon
  Chicken livers 1⁄2 Pound, cut in half
  Whole chicken breast 1 Large, split, skinned, boned, and cut in 1-inch cubes
  Scallions 4 , cut into 1 inch pieces
  Sushi 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, ginger root, and 1/4 cup water.
Boil 1 minute; cool.
Marinate chicken livers, Chicken cubes, and scallion pieces in soy mixture for 15 to 30 minutes; turn once.
On short wooden skewers thread a chicken cube, a chicken liver piece, a scallion piece, another chicken liver piece, and a chicken cube.
Grill over hot coals 4 to 5 minutes per side; brush occasionally with marinade
