Asian Salad

Ingredients
  Ham slice 3⁄4 Pound (1/2 Pound Cooked Weight)
  Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Chicken stock 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sesame oil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Hoisin sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soft noodles 12 Ounce (1 Package, Available At Specialty Food Stores)
  Canned sliced water chestnuts 8 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Green onions 4 , minced
  Peanut oil 1 Tablespoon (For Brushing Grill)
  Minced garlic 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Snow peas 1 Cup (16 tbs), trimmed
Directions

Mix dressing ingredients in small bowl.
Reserve until needed.
Cook noodles in boiling, salted water only until tender (about 2 to 4 minutes).
Cut into serving pieces with kitchen scissors.
Drain.
Place noodles in bowl.
Mix in water chestnuts and green onion.
Preheat stovetop grill over medium-high heat.
Brush grill surface lightly with peanut oil.
Trim all fat from ham.
Cut ham into 1/2-inch slices.
Sprinkle ham strips with garlic powder.
Grill strips 2 minutes per side or as necessary to heat ham.
Remove ham strips and combine with noodles.
Brush grill surface again with peanut oil and heat snow peas, just a few seconds on each side.
Toss with noodles.
Toss salad with dressing.
Arrange salad on plates and serve.
Best if served warm.
