Citrus Shrimp Kabobs
|Savory herb with garlic soup mix||2 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Envelope, Lipton Recipe Secrets)|
|Lemon juice/Lime juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated lemon peel/Lime peel||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Olive oil/Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh basil leaves/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), crushed|
|Uncooked large shrimp||1 Pound, peeled and deveined|
|Green onions||3 , cut into 2-inch pieces|
In small bowl, blend savory herb with garlic soup mix, lemon juice, lemon peel, oil and basil; add shrimp.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator, stirring occasionally, at least 2 hours.
Remove shrimp from marinade, reserving marinade.
On 4 skewers, alternately thread shrimp and vegetables.
Broil or grill, turning and basting frequently with reserved marinade, until shrimp turn pink.
