Shish Kabob With Italian Seasoning

  Wine vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooking oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), split in half
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Italian seasoning 2 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Boneless lamb/Boneless steak 2 Pound
  Small fresh mushrooms 1⁄2 Pound
  Tomato wedges 1 Dozen
  Green pepper 1 (Cut In 1-Inch Squares)

Combine vinegar, oil, onion salt, garlic, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, and 1/2 cup water in a large mixing bowl.
Set aside.
Cut steak in 1-inch cubes.
Add to marinade and let stand, covered with plastic wrap, at room temperature 5 to 6 hours.
Place meat cubes and desired vegetables noted above alternately on long wooden skewers.
Place 2 or 3 skewers on a dinner plate.
Microwave, uncovered, for about 3 minutes, on high, for medium rare.
Microwave slightly longer for well-done meat (The marinade turns the meat brown while standing, for attracive color in the finished kabobs.)
