Veal And Prune Kebabs

Ingredients
  Veal sirloin 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into strips (750 Gram)
  Rice wine 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Oil 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoons)
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)
  Pitted prunes 24
  Green peppers 1 1⁄2 , diced into large pieces
  Celery pieces 24 , blanched (3/4 Inch / 2 Centimeter Size)
  Fresh mint leaves 12
  Thyme 1 Pinch
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Place meat in wine, oil, lemon jui:e and thyme; marinate 15 minutes on countertop.
Drain meat and reserve marinade.
Alternate veal, prunes, green peppers, celery and mint leaves on skewers; place on ovenproof plater.
Generously brush with marinade an 1 broil 10 minutes 6 in (15 cm) from top element.
Turn skewers over once and season during cooking.
