|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cut dates crosswise.
Peel and slice apples.
Combine apples and dates with 1/2 cup granulated sugar and chopped pecans and put into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Mix flour, salt, brown sugar and cinnamon together.
Cut in butter until mixture is consistency of cornmeal.
Spoon over apples and dates in casserole.
Bake in a 375° F.oven for 35 minutes or until apples are tender.
