Humba Part 1 – Introduction

Bisaya version of PORK ADOBO or BRAISED PORK.
Ingredients
  Pork 1 Kilogram
  Hard boiled eggs 4
  Orange juice/Pineapple juice 1 Liter
  Soy sauce 6 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 4 Tablespoon
  Ground black pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
  Sliced onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dried banana flowers 20 Gram
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Bay leaves 3
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Heat olive oil in a large pot and sautee onions and garlic, add the pork, orange juice, soy sauce, ground black pepper, salt, brown sugar and bring to boil.

Every 15 minutes add respectively: bay leaves, dried banana flowers, hard boiled eggs and cook for another 15 minutes, remove from the fire and serve with plain rice.
