Indonesian Beef Broth With Meatballs
|Beef stock||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Sereh powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Rib celery||1 , thinly sliced on diagonal|
|Peanut oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Meatballs||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Recipe)|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
|Green onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), slivered|
Combine stock, bay leaves, laos, serehpoeder and garlic powder.
Cover, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer gently 30 minutes to blend flavors.
Remove bay leaves.
Cook celery in oil, covered, 10 minutes.
Add to broth, bring to gentle boil and drop in as many meatballs as desired.
Cook 8 to 10 minutes and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.
