Barbecued Beef Satay
|Round steak||1 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|Grated ginger/1/2 teaspoon ground ginger||2 Teaspoon|
|Caraway seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground coriander||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Tamari/Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Brown stock||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
Place all of the ingredients except the garlic in a medium-size ceramic bowl.
Add the garlic by pushing it through a garlic press into the bowl.
Mix the ingredients, cover, and let marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Spear the meat onto small skewers, reserving the marinade.
Broil 4 inches from the heat for 6 minutes, turning once and brushing with the marinade.
In a small saucepan, bring any reserved marinade to a simmer.
