Grilled Delftree Shiitake Mushrooms With Garlic, Ginger & Soy Sauce
|Shiitakes||1 Pound (445g, stems removed)|
|Ginger||1 Teaspoon, minced (5 ml)|
|Garlic||1 Teaspoon, minced (5 ml)|
|Sugar||1 Teaspoon (5 ml)|
|Soy sauce||45 Milliliter (3tbs)|
|Dry sherry||2 Tablespoon (30 ml)|
|Peanut oil||60 Milliliter (4 tbs)|
Prepare a grill or preheat the broiler to high.
In a bowl, combine the mushrooms with the remaining ingredients and toss thoroughly to combine.
Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
Skewer each shiitake through the cap horizontally with a bamboo skewer.Grill the mushrooms for about 2 minutes on each side, until lightly browned and tender.
