Ingredients
  Shiitakes 1 Pound (445g, stems removed)
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon, minced (5 ml)
  Garlic 1 Teaspoon, minced (5 ml)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon (5 ml)
  Soy sauce 45 Milliliter (3tbs)
  Dry sherry 2 Tablespoon (30 ml)
  Peanut oil 60 Milliliter (4 tbs)
Directions

Prepare a grill or preheat the broiler to high.
In a bowl, combine the mushrooms with the remaining ingredients and toss thoroughly to combine.
Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
Skewer each shiitake through the cap horizontally with a bamboo skewer.Grill the mushrooms for about 2 minutes on each side, until lightly browned and tender.
