Luau Kabobs

These Luau Kabobs are a desire ! Satiate your appetite with these skewered and broiled spiced ham and fruit make irresistible appetizers. Include then in your party menu. Your suggestions for these Luau Kabobs are welcome.
Ingredients
  Packed brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Margarine)
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pineapple 1 Large, cut into 1-inch chunks
  Preserved kumquats 10 Ounce (1 Jar)
Directions

1. In 1-quart saucepan over low heat, heat first 5 ingredients, stirring often, until butter or margarine melts. Remove saucepan from heat.
2. Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs. On six 14-inch all-metal skewers, thread ham cubes alternately with pineapple and kumquats.
3. Place skewers on rack in broiling pan; broil 15 minutes or until ham is heated through, brushing frequently with butter mixture and turning skewers occasionally.
