Sliced Beef With Oyster Sauce

Ingredients
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1⁄2 Teaspoon, chopped
  Steak 1 Pound, thinly sliced
  Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Dry sherry 1 Tablespoon
  Beef stock 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Oyster sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1 Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and stir briefly. Add a third of beef. Stir-fry 1 minute until it changes color. Remove and repeat with remaining slices.
2 Return beef to pan. Add soy sauce and sherry, and cook for 1 minute. Pour in 1/2 cup (125 ml) stock.
3 Blend cornstarch with oyster sauce, remaining stock, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir in to thicken.
