Beef Kabobs With Vegetables
|Light brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||3 Tablespoon|
|Grated onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Beef sirloin||2 Pound, cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes|
|Tomato wedges||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced as squares (To Garnish)|
|Small onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), peeled|
1. Mix brown sugar, mustard, soy sauce, water, sherry, Tabasco, onion, and garlic in a bowl.
2. Place meat in glass baking dish, pour marinade over beef, and allow to marinate in refrigerator overnight. Remove meat and reserve marinade.
3. Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers.
4. Place kabobs on grill about 5 inches from hot coals. Brush generously with marinade. Grill 7 to 10 minutes, then turn and baste with more marinade. Continue cooking until meat is done as desired.
