Oriental Ribs

Ingredients
  Pork spareribs 2 Pound, cut into 2 1/2 inch pieces
  Dried apricots 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), pressed / finely chopped
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place ribs in (12 x 8-inch) baking dish.
Cover with waxed paper.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH.
Drain excess juices.
Rearrange ribs.
In 1 quart measure, combine apricots, garlic, sugar, water, salt, pepper, ginger, cloves, vinegar and lemon juice.
MICROWAVE 4 to 6 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture comes to a full boil.
Stir.
Pour over ribs.
Cover with waxed paper.
MICRO WAVE 30 to 35 MINUTES on '8', or until tender.
Rearrange once during cooking period.
For ovens without solid state heat control, after addinq sauce to ribs, MICROWAVE 36 to 42 MINUTES on 5
